About the Support Association
The purpose of the Support Association is to provide financial and community-based support to Byens Steinerskole, serving as a catalyst for increased engagement and backing for the activities taking place at the school.
Founded in 2018, the association was established to facilitate the creation of a Rudolf Steiner school in Copenhagen/Frederiksberg. Today, it actively supports both the school and the kindergarten, Lærkelunden.
The Association’s Objectives
- To support the operation, development, and long-term sustainability of the school and kindergarten.
- To organize festivals, lectures, workshops, and courses for children, parents, and families connected to the school and kindergarten.
- To provide opportunities for those interested in learning more about the school, kindergarten, and the pedagogical principles and philosophy of Rudolf Steiner to engage in meaningful ways.
- To foster a sense of community and collaboration among parents, staff, and supporters through educational and cultural activities.
- To promote awareness and understanding of Steiner education within the broader community.

- You show your support for the continued growth and development of the school and kindergarten.
- You contribute to raising financial resources that help promote the school and kindergarten and sustain their initiatives.
- You will receive the Danish/Norwegian magazine Steinerbladet, offering in-depth insights and updates about Steiner pedagogy and philosophy from a Nordic perspective.
- You stay informed about the association’s activities and gain access to exclusive events, workshops, and lectures.
- You become part of a vibrant and engaged community that values holistic education and supports the vision of the school’s pedagogical principles.
Membership Fees
The annual membership fee is DKK 250 per household.
